The Independence Crew
Hey Folks! Just wanted to drop a quick note that Austin’s Independence Brewing Company is turning 5 years old this week. They are responsible for such tasty brews as Freestyle Wheat, Independence Pale Ale, Bootlegger Brown Ale, and others. They will be celebrating this Saturday October 24th, from 4 PM to 9 PM at the brewery. There will be music, food, and of course the beer will be flowing. Everyone attending will get 3 FREE beer samples. They’ll have a 5th Anniversary Beer as well as their standards. They’ll also be sampling their recent creation, Convict Hill Oatmeal Stout. Haven’t had that one yet, but I’ve heard good things about it. Can’t wait to try it! For more details check out their site. Come on out and celebrate one of Austin’s best brewers!
